Service Description

Tai chi is the perfect exercise for older adults. If you're new to Tai Chi or have limited experience, don't worry it's a gentle and low-impact exercise suitable for everyone. For seniors in particular, it can have significant benefits. It focuses on muscle control, stability, balance, and flexibility. It's a practice that involves a slow series of gentle movements, emphasising good posture and a meditative state of mind - with slow controlled breathing. This class is specifically designed for older adults and the movements can be done in a chair or holding a chair for support. *Concession rate available with a My Aged Care referral

Cancellation Policy

Full payment must be made to in order to secure your place.  Enrolments are not confirmed until payment is received.  Payment can be made by credit card over the phone, in person or online. Class places will be allocated strictly on a “first come, first served” basis so book early to avoid disappointment. Please retain receipt as proof of payment. Cancellations:  If you want to cancel a booking we require at least 7 days' notice prior to the first session of the course. Refunds will be paid less a 20% administration fee. We will not refund after the start of a course or program. If you are unable some sessions of a course we may issue a refund or a transfer at the Coordinator's discretion on receipt of a medical certificate. If your course is cancelled, Trentwood at the Hub will refund in full. You must provide a My Aged Care Referral to be eligible for this rate. Evidence of the My Aged Care concession will need to be provided on the day of the activity or prior.
